Enjoy this private 14-hour day trip to Agra and see its ancient monuments, such as the Taj Mahal - the UNESCO-protected monument famous all over the world and Agra Fort - a red-sandstone fortress reminding of the power of the Mughal emperors. Professional guide, entrance fees and buffet lunch are included.At 6am, you will be picked up from your Delhi accommodation and drive to Agra (approximately 3 hours). Upon your arrival to Agra, you will meet your guide and start sightseeing. First, visit the Taj Mahal - the world's best-known tomb standing testimony to the timeless love story of the 17th century´s Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (closed Fridays). In the early afternoon, visit Agra Fort, built by the Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. Its interiors represent an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles.

Savor lunch in a local air-conditioned restaurant (meal included). Around mid-afternoon, visit Agra which is well-known for its arts and handicrafts, such as: inlay work, leather-ware, brass-ware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery. You can enjoy some free time time to shop. At around 5:30pm, you will drive back to Delhi, where you will be dropped off at around 8pm.
