This one-day cultural tour takes you to the highlights of the historical center of Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Here you will be able to appreciate the most beautiful churches, squares, museums and monuments, as well as, the "Virgin Mary" statue in the Panecillo hill with an amazing view of the Colonial side The "Old Town". Quito is also listed in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. The city was founded in the 16th century on the ruins of an Inca city and stands at an altitude of 2,850m. You are also going to visit the Equator line and to experience one of the most interesting and interactive museums the Intiñan. In here you will experience the forces of the Earth's magnetism, the Coriolis effect and an explanation about the Indigenous harvesting techniques. Finally a sightseeing up on the Pululahua's crater view point.

You will stroll through the lovely streets and Plazas of the old town. After a local lunch “almuerzo” in the Mariscal area you will go to the equator line. This is a drive of approximately 45 minutes. You will visit the Intiñan museum and after that you go to the Pululahua’s Crater.

9:00am: Pick up at Hotel in Quito
9:30am: Visit to the Virgin Mary monument (Panecillo hill)
10:30am: Visit to La Basilica Church, the main squares and the San Fransisco Monastery
1:00pm: Local lunch
2:30pm: Visit to the Intiñan Equator Museum
4:00pm: Pululahua’s Crater visit
5:30pm: Back to Hotel in Quito
