Your full-day private tour from Bucharest includes Peles Castle, Bran Castle also known as Dracula's Castle, and the Medieval City of Brasov.Your full-day private tour begins at 8:30am when you are picked-up from your hotel in Bucharest. Your guide will drive you to the heart of the Carpathian Mountains for spectacular mountain scenery and allow you to discover the most famous castles of Romania, Bran and Peles.
Our first stop is the beautiful Peles Castle, built by the Romanian Royal family at the end of the 19th century as their summer residence in a German-Renaissance architecture style.
Next we shall visit Bran Castle, which dates back to 1377 and is most associated with the myth of Dracula, Bram Stoker’s famous character.
Finally, the Medieval City of Brasov will enchant you with its historic center area. The city was founded in the early 13th century by the Teutonic Knights and later developed by the Saxons. We shall explore the historic sites of the Black Church, Council Square and White Tower in Brasov before returning to your hotel.

Between 16 September and 14 May every year, Peles castle is open from Wednesday to Sunday only. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the Cantacuzino Castle in Busteni or Rasnov Citadel will be visited instead.
Between 2 November 2016 and 1 December 2016, Peles Castle is closed for cleaning. During this period, you will be able to visit the smaller replica - Pelisor Castle.
During official holidays and weekends the traffic to the mountain area might be busier than usual so the return could be later than scheduled (around 22.00 pm).
