At 8:30am, your personal English-speaking tour guide and private vehicle will pick you up from your downtown Harbin hotel for an ice and Snow adventure!
Your first stop is the Siberian Tiger Park, the world's largest breeding center for Siberian tigers. Take a bus with wired mesh protection traveling through the park to see at about 100 purebred Siberian tigers roaming freely inside of the sanctuary. You may purchase meat or poultry at your own expense to feed these endangered tigers.
Next, stroll leisurely along the Central Street where you will find buildings influenced by western architectural style and lots of places for shopping and dining. Enjoy a Popsicle in winter like the locals do while you are there! Lunch will be served at the most popular local dumpling restaurant - Dongfang Jiaozi Wang (King of Eastern Dumplings). Their dumplings are made of locally grown wheat. You may order a variety of dumplings with different stuffing such as pork, beef, shrimp, and vegetables...etc.
After lunch, continue to visit Sun Island, the birthplace of Chinese snow sculpture art. Each year, Sun Island attracts master snow sculpture artists from around the world to build and present their amazing artworks. It is also considered as the World’s largest ice and snow carnival. When the sun sets at 4:00pm and these sculptures are lit up with colorful laser beams and lights. Have fun in the ice labyrinth and ice slide in the ice castle.
After Sun Island, you will be transferred back to your downtown Harbin hotel by 5:30pm where this tour concludes.
