Enjoy looking after these adorable animals with the assistance of professional staff and your guide.In the early morning (about 7am), your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel within the 3rd ring of Chengdu and drive to the Dujiangyan Panda Base to check into the volunteer program. You will get a uniform, gloves, and a volunteer’s ID card for the day. Your guide will introduce you to the professional panda keepers who look after these majestic creatures. These panda keepers speak very little English; however, your guide will be there for you at all times to translate and taking memorable photos of you with lovely panda bears.
During the course of volunteering, you will clean the panda enclosures and tour around the panda base. Take a short break before feeding a panda. Take pictures of Giant Pandas and learn about each lovely panda. You will watch a panda movie and then make panda food (cakes). This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
Upon completion of your volunteer work, you will receive a certificate for this unforgettable day. Say goodbye to the pandas you look after as well as the staff and head back to your downtown Chengdu hotel where this tour concludes.
