This private day tour will take you to visit the Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Base and Leshan Grand Buddha. See the adorable pandas and the world's tallest Buddha. Chengdu Panda Base is one of Chengdu's most popular tourist attractions, and it focuses on getting these beautiful creatures to live happy and healthy lives. In the morning, your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The research center is the best possible environment for rearing and breeding these magnificent creatures. Here, you can explore the daily life of the pandas, and observe them eating bamboo at their active time (9-11:00am).

After lunch, drive about two hours to visit the Leshan Giant Buddha. Marvel at its the height of 233 Feet (71 meters), as it sits at the confluence of three rivers. It is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world and was carved on the cliff of Lingyun Mountain in order to suppress the flood. Enjoy the spectacular view of the huge statue as you walk down through the narrow staircases to the foot of the Buddha.
