Here is the list of the places we will visited during this 3-hour walking tour of Curitiba:
- Tiradentes Square: the place where Curitiba began.
- Cathedral: inaugurated 1893 in neo-gothic style.
- Paço da Liberdade: the former city hall was built in eclectic style and opened 1915.
- Riachuelo Street: several second hand shops (clothing and furniture), besides popular shops
- 19 December Square: opened 1953 to celebrate Paraná´s 100th anniversary.
- Passeio Público: Curitiba´s first park
- Santos Andrade Square: see the Guaíra Theater and the historical building of UFPR (university)
- Curitiba´s bus system: we will take a typical bus to Eufrásio Corrêa Square
- Railroad Museum: the former rail station is today a shopping mall that hosts this museum
- Barão do Rio Branco Street: was built to link the downtown area to the railroad. Curitiba´s first hotels were built here
- Rua das Flores (pedestrian area): opened 1972, it is one of Curitiba´s main commercial areas
- Boca Maldita: this place is very popular for its cafés and discussions about politics and economy
- João Cândido Square: Saint Francis Ruins and the Belvedere.
- Garibaldi Square: beautiful place with old houses, the Garibaldi Club and the Rosário Church, attended formerly by slaves
- Largo da Ordem: the Ordem church is the main attraction and the oldest in Curitiba, built 1736
