Cape Sounio is a promontory located 69 kilometer (43 mi) south-southeast of Athens, the second most visited ancient ruin site after Acropolis .Cape Sounio is noted as the site of ruins of the ancient temple of Poseidon, the god of the sea in classical mythology. The remains are perched on the headland, surrounded on three sides by the sea. The ruins bear the deeply engraved name of English Romantic poet Lord Byron. After visiting the temple you board the rib and head to Arsida and Pothitos, two small uninhabited islands, where you can swim, snorkel or just relax by the sea.

The private round-trip tour starts with a pickup with our air-conditioned mini van from your hotel in Athens to Lagonissi, where you will board the rib boat. While your captain sails the boat, passing the stunning coast line of Attica, sit back and relax or simply soak up the sun.

After a short trip, you will arrive at the Sounio cape where a mini van will be waiting for you to take you up at the Poseidon temple. There you will explore the ruins and admire the stunning views.
