You will meet your guide in your hotel lobby in Chennai at 8:30 am, and proceed first to visit the Government Museum Complex Art and bronze Gallery. After this, you will take a drive through historic parts of Chennai, including George Town, and see Chennai Egmore railway station.
Around 12:30 pm, you will have a break for lunch, and are free to select your own cuisine and restaurant (own expense). After lunch, around 1 pm, you will proceed to explore the Bazaar/Flower Markets, visit St.Mary's Church, and Kapaleeshwar Temple.
Next, you will visit the expansive and unique Rippon's Building; a beautiful combination of Gothic, Ionic and Corinthian, Neoclassical-styled architecture. The Ripon Building is an all-white structure and is located near the Chennai Central railway station.
Around 12:30 pm, you will have a break for lunch, and are free to select your own cuisine and restaurant (own expense). After lunch, around 1 pm, you will proceed to explore the Bazaar/Flower Markets, visit St.Mary's Church, and Kapaleeshwar Temple.
Next you will visit Marina Beach- an 'urban beach' sitting right against the city, along the Bay of Bengal, part of the Indian Ocean.The beach runs 8 miles from Fort St. George in the North to Besant Nagar in the South, making it the longest natural urban beach in the country and the world's second-longest natural urban beach.
At the end of your journey around 5:30 pm, you will sit back and relax on the drive back to your hotel in Chennai or Chennai International Airport.
