This guided city sightseeing trip brings you to the main downtown attractions, including Qingyang Palace and Wuhou Temple, and Old Jinli Street. The tour also includes hotel pickup and drop-off.This morning tour starts at 9am when the guide and driver will pick you up from the lobby of your hotel. Drive to visit Qingyang Palace which is a Taoist temple with a history of more than 1,000 years. Then visit the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, the former residence of a very famous Tang poet. Du Fu wrote more than 240 poems at this cottage which reflect the sorrows of the village.
Lunch will be on your own arrangement and tour guide will recommend some local Sichuan snacks to you.
In the afternoon, continue to to visit Wuhou Temple (Memorial Temple of Marquis Wu), which was built as the memorial of one Shu Kingdom premier during the Three Kingdoms period. Next, have a walk at Old Jinli Street. Late in the afternoon, drive to visit Wenshu Buddhist Temple, which was built during the Tang Dynasty. This temple is the largest and best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu.
At the end of the tour, the guide and driver will transfer you back to the hotel before 6pm. Service ends here.
