Private Charter Boat Full Day Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Caye Caulker

Hotel pick up is free anywhere within a 3 mile radius of San Pedro Town Center. Tour includes a private boat, guides, captain, purified water, sodas, natural juice, rum punch (if requested), lunch is not provided, this is to give the guests a choice of the many restaurants on Caye Caulker.

The boat will be at the pickup point 10 minutes prior to departure fully prepped with staff and equipment on board. Once you arrive, you will be welcomed on board and provided with an introductory briefing. The tour starts there, whilst underway they will be fitted with their snorkel gears.

Upon arrival at Hol Chan, the crew checks in with the park rangers and then get the boat moored properly. Once done, you will be provided with a briefing about the park system, what it is, the rules and what is expected, then a talk about the snorkel equipment and how to use them properly as well as safety procedures.

Afterwards, you will get in the water and practice around the boat. Once you are comfortable, the snorkel tour for the Hol Chan portion starts, snorkeling here is for 45 minutes to an hour but can be cut short if you wish. Once done with Hol Chan, 5 minutes away is Shark Ray Alley, here you will snorkel with the harmless nurse sharks and southern stingrays for 30 to 45 minutes.

From there move over to Coral Gardens. enjoy some fresh fruit before another snorkel for 45 minute to an hour. You will then head to Caye Caulker located 15 minutes away. After a set time is established for departure, guests are allowed to walk around and find a place they like for lunch and sightseeing. Upon departure everyone gathers in the boat and head out to first go look among the mangrove roots for Seahorses which are always fun to find and see, then its off to feed the Tarpons and head back to San Pedro.

Cruise along back while enjoy local rum punch and great conversations. You will be dropped off at the point you were picked up from unless specified differently.
