Meet at Kaş Harbour for departure to our first stop at “Yaglica” Bay. Enjoy a coffee or tea while relaxing on deck with one of our large comfortable sun mats as we sail. Guests who enjoy fishing may try their luck using our equipment to catch local fishes such as leer fish, bonito, and wrasse. After an hour’s journey, we reach our first swimming stop in beautiful, refreshing “Yalija” Bay.
Depart at 11.30am for Aquarium Cove, located between two islands where exceptionally clear visibility and interesting sea life and features create an aquarium-like experience. During each of these Leisure stops, make use of our on-board equipment to enrich your sea experience: fins, masks, goggles, snorkels and a sub aquatic camera to immortalize your underwater explorations. While you enjoy the sea and its secret underwater world, we will be preparing your on-board lunch of tasty Turkish mezes and grilled kebabs using organic, seasonal ingredients.
After a delicious lunch enjoyed right on serene waters, we set sail in the direction of Kekova (Simena) with our first glimpse of this history-rich region at “Shipyard Cove.” Your journey into ancient history begins here where two thousand years ago an earthquake ripped this part of Lycia apart and plunged it underwater leaving the ancient homes, roads and public structures we see at the bottom of the sea today. At every turn, these islands reveal a bit of history and as we explore this area, you will enjoy an unforgettable intimacy with such a mighty civilization of past.
We leave the unique beauties of Kekova Islands and point our rudder towards Kaleköy (Castleville) where there is a castle from byzantine and Roman periods and the Royal Cemetery of the Lycian Epoch, sprinkled generously with sarcophagi. After exploring Kaleköy, we set out for Üçağız Village (Village of Three Mouths), home to further historical beauties embedded in a rustic seaside village; after a visit here, we set off to Inonu bay, our Leisure stop along our return route. In Inonu Bay, we again give ourselves over to the cool waters of the Mediterranean. After this cool-down, we finally complete our journey with our return to Kaş harbour.
