The driver and guide will meet you in the hotel at 8:00am followed by a 1.5 hour drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall.
The Great Wall at Mutianyu is a little further from Beijing than the most popular section at Badaling, but it isn't as crowded as that either.
This section of the Wall is fully restored. There are hand rails to help you up on the very steep parts and the views are spectacular. You will have your choice of taking a cable car or chair lift up and spend 2-3 hours hiking on the Wall. Then you have the option of taking a toboggan ride back down or simply return the way you came.
After lunch at local Chinese restaurant, your guide will drive you about 1 hour to the China Aviation Museum.
The Museum was founded on part of an airbase. The runways are a mile away and are connected to the museum by a long taxi distance. The museum collects more than 200 airplanes with the things like the weapons, ground-air missiles, high cannons, aviation bombs and cameras. Lots of them are the precious cultural relics of the country and world aviation treasure work.
This fantastic tour will end by driving you back to your centrally located hotel in Beijing.
