Your day starts with the chance to observe a sumo wrestling practice session. Sumo is an ancient sport dating back some 1,500 years. You can feel a Japanese tradition as you watch the powerful wrestlers practicing. Afterwards, you will visit the popular Asakusa area, a typical Japanese garden, and Tsukiji fish market.You will watch a sumo practice at Chiganoura training stable before a tournament of the day (Jan., May., and Sep. only), and afterwards visit the popular Asakusa area including Tokyo's oldest temple Senso-ji, built in 628, Asakusa shrine and take a cruise on the Sumida river (about 50 minutes from Asakusa to Hamarikyu). From the water, you will see modern structures such as the Tokyo SkyTree, the world highest self-supporting tower for broadcasting use. You’ll then pay a visit to Hamarikyu Japanese garden which once served as a samurai warrior’s house in the 17th century. Lastly, you’ll visit the world’s largest fish market, Tsukiji fish market (doesn’t include the tuna auction).
