Our staff will meet you at San Jose Costa Rica airport holding a sign with your name on it and as soon as you clear customs we will be ready to head to Monteverde. The driving time is approximately 3 hours but we are not in a hurry so, if you want to stop for breakfast or lunch, for sightseeing, stretch legs or smoke we will me more than happy to be your personal guide.

The route goes from the San Jose airport over the number 1 road and then we will be taking the number 27 road crossing the central mountain range. 45 minutes later we will be just next to Puerto Caldera in the Central Pacific Coast where the Pacific Ocean will be part of our travel companion for a while.

As soon as we leave the main road, the following 17 kilometers are in good conditions but the last 17kilometers are over a gravel road with great mountain landscapes. Perfect for pictures!
