In Lhasa, you have a few days to get acclimated to the high altitude and enjoy both guided sightseeing activities and free time to walk around the old city on your own. Then leave the city by comfortable van or minibus operated by an experienced driver, and head toward the Himalayas, passing beautiful temples and monasteries, remote villages, snow-covered mountains, sacred lakes, and herds of sheep and yaks.
Accommodation includes 4-star hotels in Lhasa and Shigatse, and a rustic tent guesthouse at Everest Base Camp. Other than breakfasts at the hotels, meals are not included, allowing you the flexibility to choose what and where to eat. Your guide can suggest restaurant options in each place you visit.
