Ancient Tallinn is not just all about facts and historic events – this is city full of mystical courtyards, old walls and towers, all filled with magic of the legends. On the wings of this wonder you will walk through the Tallinn Old Town to take a look at the Town Hall and one of the oldest continuously working pharmacies in the world. Admire the churches of St. Olav and the Holy Spirit, take a look at the oldest street clock in Tallinn and enjoy the narrow cobblestone streets. The walking tour takes you to the marzipan museum, where you are welcome to make and paint your own marzipan figurine or just choose one as a gift.
Further you will visit the ancient City Wall and climb the old watchtower in order to get the right feeling of the life of medieval city guards. After that event the most favoured pancake restaurant of local families awaits you to have coffee break and enjoy the wide variety of delicious pastries and cakes.
The second part of the tour is a drive to the outskirts of Tallinn – Kadriorg Park and Pirita beach. The park is a beautiful surrounding for the Kadriorg Palace with a real swan pond and wonderful rose gardens. Also you can take a look at the Presidential Palace and if really lucky, maybe even spot a squirrel or two. The tour will continue passing the Song Festival Grounds and end with the final stop at the Pirita Beach, where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the Bay of Tallinn.
Your friendly and well-informed guides can provide you with so much more than just the tour info – feel free to inquire all about the current life, issues and most exciting details about the modern life in Estonia. The tour ends back in the harbour or your hotel.
