Salento is one of the main tourist destinations in Colombia. The magical landscape of the Cocora Valley, the diversity of birds, and colorful architecture of the Colombian coffee area make this a must visit. Come and have a taste of the coffee atmosphere. Your tour will leave your hotel in Cali at 5 am. The first stop will be for breakfast in Buga, a town on the Way to Salento. In mid-morning you'll arrive in Salento, leave your luggage at the hotel and begin your sight-seeing adventure. You'll go to the miradores and the beautiful downtown with its authentic, colorful architecture. After lunch, you will go to visit a wonderful, typical coffee farm to learn about the coffee plantations and the production process, as well as the culture and customs around this activity. You'll return to town for dinner or shopping on your own at any of the cozy handicraft and gift shops.

The next day, have your breakfast around 6:00am, then leave the hotel for a fantastic trek in the Cocora Valley and the surrounding hillside. The Cocora Valley is home to many wax palms, the national tree and symbol of Columbia. They are some of the tallest biggest palms inthe world and a very a worthy sight. After lunch, you'll return to Cali around 2pm, and arrive back at your hotel at 7pm.
