Capacity of each Eco-Tuk is 6 persons. The tour starts downtown in Restauradores Square, exploring Lisbon Old Town from there. This eastern area was built around the Castle and grew outward from there. The Old Town is a melting pot of monuments, such as the cathedral and the castle, fusing within the narrow streets of Alfama and Mouraria. The Patriarchal Cathedral of St. Mary Major, or "Lisbon Cathedral", is a must-see since it is the perfect place to show the growth of the city. Built on a roman town, it later became a Moorish Mosque, then, after the Christian conquest of the city, a church.

The tour then passes through Mouraria, the birthplace of the Portuguese music genre called "Fado". The locals are very found of this music that talks about love and longing. The area, with all of its multicultural aspects, was originally built to confine the Moors that survived the Portuguese occupation after the Christians conquered Lisbon in the 12th century.

Another must of the city is a 10-minute stop by the highest viewpoint, Nossa Senhora do Monte, where you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the entire city. It’s perfect for your storyteller-guide to explain the growth of city over the centuries and how some of it resisted the 1755 earthquake. You will also have the chance to taste the famous Portuguese custard cakes, Pasteis de nata.

Going down to the river side, you’ll pass by Alfama, the oldest and most typical neighborhood of the city, as you go to the Praça do Comércio, formerly the main entrance of the city, one of Europe’s largest and most beautiful squares, and the end of our tour.
