On this tour, you can visit some of the most popular places to visit around the Mt. Fuji area including a kimono museum, a shrine and a sake brewery. Another thing you can see on this tour is a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji riding on a ropeway.You will be picked up from your hotel near Lake Kawaguchiko or Kawaguchiko Station around 9am and head to Kachi Kachi Yama Ropeway. On the lower eastern edge of Kawaguchiko lake, Kachi Kachi Yama Ropeway runs to the Fuji Viewing Platform where you can enjoy the great view of the Mt.Fuji riding on the ropeway.
After enjoying the spectacular view at Kachi Kachi Yama, you'll go to the 3 Michelin star-rated Itchiku Kubota Art Museum. Here, in an attractive Gaudi-influenced building, this excellent museum exhibits the kimono art of Itchiku Kubota. A small number of lavishly dyed kimonos from his life's work of continuous landscapes are displayed in a grand hall of cypress. You can explore this beautiful garden as well.
Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine is your next stop. The precinct of this shrine is located at the start point of the Yoshida Climbing Route to the summit of Mt.Fuji. Here, you can feel the serene atmosphere among the magnificent trees on site.
After your long day, you'll arrive at Ide Sake Brewery. Ide Sake Brewery is a small-scale sake brewery that has been using the spring waters from Mt.Fuji to produce excellent sake for over 150 years. Its tours provide a fascinating insight into the sake production process and a souvenir glass. After learning about sake, you will be dropped off at approximately 5pm to your original departure location.
