Explore the life under the oppressive communist regime through stories of the great amount of people who decided to stand against it. Learn how the communist party took over the country in 1948 and how they got rid of their political enemies in the 1950s.
Later on you will visit a real nuclear bunker built in the 1950s, which was supposed to become a place for protection against nuclear bombing. There you will learn interesting facts about the secret plans of the Czechoslovak military which they were commanded to follow in case of a nuclear war and how the country would work after the bombing.
You will also learn about the spying techniques used by the Communists and about the lives of border patrol guards who were protecting the Iron Curtain. You will also have the unique opportunity to see original police equipment, military uniforms, border guard’s equipment and weapon and collection of soviet transmitters.
