Make your own way to the cruise departure point on the banks of the Vltava River in central Prague. Board your boat and enjoy a complimentary welcome glass of delicious Moravian plum brandy.

As your boat pulls away, watch the passing sights from the open deck or through the picture windows in the interior cabin. The city is known for its intricate skyline of spires, steeples, turrets and domes, and a cruise is a great way to appreciate its finery, especially when the city is illuminated by the sunset and later, by floodlights.

Your cruise takes you past iconic landmarks such as the vast, walled Prague Castle, Rudolfinum and the National Museum, as well as lesser-known gems such as the Monastery of St Agnes. Have your camera ready for two of the highlights: when your boat glides under the statue-lined Charles Bridge and when you travel through the oldest locks on the Vltava River.

When you feel peckish, help yourself to the generous open buffet of classic Czech and international dishes. Take your seat on your shared table for six and chat to your fellow guests as you savor your meal. If you wish, choose from the drinks selection available from the on-board bar (own expense). During your cruise, you can also upgrade to enjoy additional foods and canapés. Please see the Itinerary for sample menus.

As you eat, a band will strike up and play traditional Czech music to make your trip extra memorable. After dinner, perhaps head onto the softly lit, open deck and enjoy the melodies as darkness falls and the city lights twinkle and reflect in the water.

After about three hours, enjoy the views one last time as your boat sails back to its start point and your cruise comes to an end.
