Learn how to throw your own unique pots on the potter's wheel. Honeybourne Pottery cater for individuals, couples or small groups looking for a fun and creative experience. After tea/coffee, we will give you a demonstration, taking you step by step through the pot throwing process. Plenty of tuition will be given throughout while you have fun making as many pots as you wish during the session exploring different shapes and forms.
Firing & Glazing: If desired, you can transform 1 or 2 of your best creations into professional and usable pieces of pottery at a cost of £10 per pot (paid locally). Hand-decorate using our range of coloured slips and attach handles/motifs. Your masterpieces will be left at the Pottery for firing and glazing and approximately one month later they will be ready for you to collect. Or for an additional £5 per pot we will carefully wrap and post to your address.
Remaining pots can be taken away free of charge on the day and should be left to dry until leather hard. Pots can then be painted & used for storage, however cannot hold liquid or food.
