Potato Cultural Tour at Pisaq Potato Park Including Lunch

Enjoy a visit to the Potato Park in Pisaq. You'll travel the roads linking six communities and see lagoon Kinsaqocha, conservation farming native potato, workshops crafts and medicinal plants. Finally, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a specialty restaurant, where exquisite dishes are prepared by Andean hands based on the hundreds of varieties of potatoes, of all shapes and colors, resulting in a thousand flavors to enjoy. You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco at approximately 7am. From there, you will travel by minibus to Pisaq where you can visit the handicraft market. Then, you'll head to the Potato Park (Parque de la Papa), where you will see and learn about the many communities located there. You'll also visit the Kinsaqocha lagoon and then see native potato farms and learn about the method of conservation and how locals use the ancient tools used by the Incas to cultivate these, including to "Chaquitaqlla."

You will also be able to participate in all this process. Then, at 12pm you will learn about the typical dishes made with Peruvian native potatoes and about the workshops, crafts and medicinal plants. Finally, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a specialty restaurant, where exquisite dishes will be served and are made by Andean hands based on the hundreds of varieties of potatoes, of all shapes and colors, resulting in a thousand flavors to enjoy. You'll head back to Cusco at approximately 4pm.
