Certainly you've heard a lot about Portuguese gastronomy, the delicious pastries, the freshness and special taste of the Atlantic fish. You may also have heard about the beauty of the landscape. Well, it’s time to taste it, see it and feel it…all in one day! Lisbon, Cascais, Cabo da Roca, Sintra. What to Expect
We’ll pick you wherever you are staying in Lisbon at 9:00 and take a short ride to one of the most famous pastryshops of Portugal – Fábrica de Pastéis de Belém.

Once you feel satisfied with the amount you have eaten we´ll take a ride on the national route, the “Marginal,” where you can enjoy the magnificent sea-view along the road to Cascais. This will take about half an hour. You’ll have a short visit in Cascais. There's no gastronomic program planned there, unless you want to try the best ice cream in Portugal, the famous Santini!

We will continue our journey along the Coast to Cabo da Roca, passing through Guincho beach where you have the opportunity to watch the windsurfers at one of the windiest beaches in the world.

At Cabo da Roca you can enjoy the view and take all the pictures you want on the most Western point of the European Continent. We swear that there’s no gastronomic experience here since we have to leave some room for lunch! Following that, we will drive to the Restaurant at secret place.

There you will have a magnificent lunch in one of the best fish restaurants of Portugal, with the most wonderful view. The Chef recommends the Fish Soup, the grilled Sea Bass and a variety of other local fish. We assure you the freshest fish in Europe. And, if you still have some room left, try the Strawberry Meringue or the Sericaia for dessert.

After the meal you will be ready for some culture.

Pena Palace is one of the most interesting monuments of Portugal. Initially built in the XVI century, as a monastery, it was transformed into a summer residence by King Ferdinand II. He also commissioned an impressive park which surrounds the residence that you’ll be able to visit! There’s no gastronomic experience planned here unless you want to try the Queijadas (cakes made with cheese) !

From here we go to the Village of Sintra. You can visit the Palace in the centre or enjoy a walk in the surroundings and admire the summer houses built by the Portuguese nobles and bourgeoisie, like the Quinta da Regaleira and other interesting houses. We’ll walk for about one hour. This will be the preparation for the last gastronomic experience of the day: the famous Pastry Periquita at The Travesseiros . Simply delicious!

Then you can relax or have a nice rest in the car-ride back to your place. Still hungry? We can always plan a nice dinner in Lisbon.
