Portofino, one of the most renowned destinations in Italy thanks to its romantic and quaint atmosphere, colorful houses and squares, is a small village of fishermen located in the scenic Ligurian coast. Once you arrive to your destination, you will be offered a tasty aperitivo right in a small square that overlooks the port and the coast. You will then start a walking tour, where you will visit the Church of San Giorgio, Brown Castle, maybe explore a nearby lighthouse, or just stroll around the scenic paths down to San Fruttuoso.
You will then reach San Fruttuoso by boat. This small fishing village, located in a splendid bay at the foot of Mount Portofino, is only reachable by sea or on foot, following the trails of Portofino Park. The extraordinary spot is dominated by the Abbey of San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte, which has extremely old origins, dating back to the 8th century. Around the abbey is a small beach, a church, the tower of the Doria and a few fishing cottages that are reflected in sea. Take your time here to enjoy a swim in the incredible water, or just relax on the beach under the sun.
