Visit the fantastic city of Porto, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO! First we’ll walk through the historical center and visit the most emblematic monuments. Following will be panoramic sightseeing from Boavista to Foz, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the amazing and historical town beaches. For lunch, we'll give you the chance to choose from three local restaurants! After lunch, we'll head to the other shore where the famous cruise on a Rabelo boat awaits for you for a 50-minute trip. We will pick up at your hotel in a air-conditioned minivan and head to the historical center where we'll take you on a walking tour to visit the most iconic and photographed places in the city of Porto, World Heritage Site, including one of the most recognized libraries of the world, the Nasoni tower who has six floors and 75 meters high which is climbed in a spiral staircase with 240 steps, and the Cathedral which is one of the leading and oldest monuments of the city!
After prepare for a sightseeing ride passing the famous Boavista, the wonderfull House of Music and through Avenida da Boavista, old Foz and the beaches till we arrive again at the heart of the city.
Towards lunch, you will have the opportunity to experience and choosing from three local and different restaurants! It's up to you which portuguese traditional food you'll be having!
Toward the other shore, you will discover the magic on a 50 min cruise. The tour is conducted in a Rabelo boat, a Portuguese typical boat of the Douro River that traditionally carried the port wine casks from Alto Douro, where the vineyards are located, to Vila Nova de Gaia Porto, where the wine was stored and later sold and shipped to other countries.
Still need to taste the nectar of the gods, so you'll have the opportunity to visit a typical old cellar of Port and make the respective tasting at the end.
We'll end our tour with a visit to the amazing Monastery of Serra Do Pilar, so, when you get to the top of the Serra do Pilar take your camera. You will want to show all your friends the photos of what you are about to see. In addition to the unique view from here you will also find the monastery; it’s circular in shape, and the only one of its kind in the whole country. We won’t tell you anything else, we prefer to see the photos later!
