Located roughly two hours from capital city Zagreb. The lakes are a definite must-see in Croatia. The beauty of the National Park lies in its sixteen lakes, inter-connected by a series of waterfalls, and set in deep woodland populated by deer, bears, wolves, boars and rare bird species. The National Park covers a total area of 300 square kilometres, whilst the lakes join together over a distance of eight kilometres. Departure at 09h00. Transfer with air-conditioned minibus. During the two-hour drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park you will have one break. Plitvice is the oldest and largest national park in Croatia. Tour includes walk over attractive wooden bridges, more then 300 stairs, boat cruise around the lower lakes and electric train drive.
