Once you arrive in Pisa, reach Piazza dei Miracoli, to admire the magnificent Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Leaning Tower. You have the chance to visit three museums, Sinopie Museum and the Camposanto as well. If you don't want to miss the opportunity to climb the tower you can also decide to pre-book the entrance ticket to the tower (own expense) to enjoy a unique experience.
In the afternoon you can decide to relax in Pisa or to do a quick stop in Florence before coming back to Venice. Your local train ticket Pisa – Florence is “open”, so you can choose to take an earlier train to Florence (depart from Pisa at 4:32pm and arrive in Florence around 5:32pm) or to leave Pisa at 7:12 and travel back directly to Venice (arrival around 11:30 pm). If you decide to stop in Florence you can simply have a quick walk in the city center. Don't forget that you have to take the train back to Venice at 9:25pm.
