Meet your friendly local guide at the designated meetup point to begin this amazing tour. From there board a pontoon boat and let your guide enrich your knowledge of San Salvador and the Bahamas as you ride to the tidal creek known as Pigeon Creek. En route to Pigeon Creek you will visit the monument of Christopher Columbus.
Upon arrival at Pigeon Creek you will cruise the mangrove-lined creek on a comfortable pontoon boat. The guides will share their knowledge of the creek and will stop at various spots in the creek to show you the fragile ecosystem of the mangroves and turtles in their natural habitat. You will disembark on a sand bank where you can wade, searching for starfishes and conch or just sit and enjoy nature. Along the entire route, you may see various species of sharks, rays, turtles and many tropical fishes.
From the lagoon you will travel across open water to nearby High Cay where you can snorkel a vibrant reef or just relax on the beach and search for shells. A light snack including wine, cheese and fruit will be served.
