Discover the secrets of Chicago's Pedway, the city's secret weapon against the harsh realities our our cruel winters while stopping at some of Chicago's best landmarks.Pedway Brunch Tour begins at 9:30 am sharp at the Radisson Blu Hotel - 221 Columbus Drive - inside main lobby by front entrance. After a quick introduction the tour will immediately engage Chicago's indoor Pedway system. The Pedway (Pedestrian Walk-Way) spans nearly 5 miles in length and it is an assortment of underground corridors, building concourses, food courts, train stations and sky-bridges. The first leg of this journey is about 45 minutes and allows enough time for guests to build up a pleasant appetite.
Guests then stop at American Craft Kitchen in the Hyatt Regency for a fabulous breakfast buffet. The brunch features everything a traditional breakfast buffet has to offer including; fruit, pastry, cereal, eggs, toast, muffins, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, meats, hash, made to order omelets and so much more including coffee, orange juice and water. Brunch lasts from 45 minutes to a hour.
After brunch, guests return to the Pedway for a second hour of entertaining storytelling and calorie burning! Along the way, guests will hear more interesting stories about Chicago and make a couple stops along the way including; Millennium Station, Chicago Cultural Center and Macy's Department store. At the Cultural Center, guests will view the world's largest Tiffany Dome while listening to stories about the Tiffany family of New York. Guests will learn the one and only reason why his "Tiffany Girls" had to immediately resign if they did this one thing. Only one block away guests will view the world's largest Tiffany Ceiling in Macy's Department Store and discover why did R.H. Macy chose the famous "Red Star" as his company's logo.
