Get to travel in the first transcontinental railroad. Since 1501, when the Spaniards landed in the Isthmuss of Panamá, Panamá has been a natural transit route to cross from one ocean to the other. The construction began in august 1850 on the mainland around Monkey Hill (Mount Hope).The experience starts by picking you up at 6:00 am at the lobby of your hotel and take you to the train station of the Panamá Canal Railway.
The railroad follows a picturesque path across the Isthmus of Panamá. The train pass next to the Panamá Canal Locks, rainforest and the Gatun Lake, you will enjoy taking pictures.
Passenger service between the cities of Panamá and Colón began in June 2001.
After you enjoy this 1 hour journey on the Panamá Canal Railway, we will pick you up at the train station on Colón and drive back to Panamá City for around 45 minutes depending on the traffic and leave you at your hotel.
