The ryokan prides itself on its traditional Japanese kaiseki meals that are expertly-prepared by a Kyoto-trained head chef using the freshest ingredients. Dinners are full-course meals of Japanese cuisine (own expense). Wine, Japanese sake, and other drinks can also be provided on request (own expense). Dinners and breakfasts are served in the dinning room.

A must-see part of the ryokan is the newly created riverbed that runs alongside the ryokan. It is truly a unique place that can only be created by a ryokan located close to a river. Between the months of June and July, fireflies can be seen dancing in this riverbed.
