Just 3 hours from the Sacred Valley coffee farmers will welcome you in the beautiful mountain jungle to participate in a tour showing you the coffee and cocoa production. This 2-day tour is meant to leave the typical touristic places aside and show you a side of Peru you don't see many times. Your overnight tour begins with hotel pickup in Cusco or the Sacred Valley. You will drive 3 hours and reach the jungle and meet your guide and head to Quillabamba to immerse yourself in a place filled with incredible peace and beauty.
You will visit a coffee plantation and learn what a normal day of a coffee maker is. The coffee maker will you all the different techniques used to produce coffee. You will also visit the Cocla Cooperative, which is one of the few cooperatives certified on fair trade and organic coffee. There, you will get a demonstration of how to toast coffee and taste the different kinds of one of the best coffees in South America.
Your guide will be with you as you continue the tour and visit other coffee plantations, cocoa plantations, coke leaves and tropical fruits until you reach a beautiful waterfall where you can enjoy a refreshing swim. You will spend the night with a host family of coffee farmers to share a positive human experience and make this tour truly unforgettable.
