Start your tour from your hotel in the city and make your way to Linlithgow Palace which was used for some of the gardens and the prison entrance where Jamie was kept. Continue your way up to the Hopetoun House, where the Duke of Sandringham stayed. Afterwards you will make your way to Midhope Castle (Lallybroch) and then to Blackness Castle (Wentworth Prison and Fort William).
The second day of your journey will begin by heading to Preston Mill, which was supposed to be on the Lallybroch Estate, before turning and making your way to Falkland (Inverness), Culross (Cranesmuir) and finally Doune Castle (Castle Leoch). Continue to discover the Glencoe, where you will spend the night. The Tigh Na Cheo Bed and Breakfast in Kinlochleven is highly recommended. Make a stop at Rannoch Moor where they filmed much of the outdoor riding scenes and Craigh Na Dun.
The final day of your tour will begin with check-out from your accommodation and by making your way to the real Inverness, stopping at the real Fort William, Urquhart Castle (to see it from the outside), Culloden and to witness some real standing stones at "The Clava Cairns". Make a quick a stop at George Square in Glasgow, where Claire and Frank tied the knot and conclude your tour back in Edinburgh.
