Start the walking tour from Campo San Bartolomeo, cross the 16th century dated back Rialto bridge to discover the ancient commercial area of the city and walk on the back streets to reach Campo San Polo passing by Ca’Foscari, a former noble palace dating back to 15th century now housing one of the 3 Venetian Universities .
Continue walking inside the sestiere Dorsoduro to reach the ancient sea custom of the city known as “Punta della dogana”. From there, enjoy an amazing view on the S. Mark’s basin (great spot for gorgeous pics!).
Then walk back to the Accademia bridge, walking in front of the baroque church of Santa Maria della Salute where the tour ends.
