Enjoy a mix of flamenco and soul-stirring opera music with a ticket to the ‘Opera y Flamenco’ show at either Teatre Poliorama or Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona! The 1.5-hour evening performance relays a traditional Spanish love story through the medium of flamenco dance and opera music, performed by a mini orchestra plus a tenor and soprano singer. Choose from a time and seat to suit your schedule and budget. Choose from one of two evening performance times at either Teatre Poliorama or Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona. Visit the bar for a drink, if you wish, and then take a seat in front of the stage in time for your opera and flamenco performance.

Combining a fusion of melodic lyrical singing with Spanish tradition and captivating flamenco dance moves, the ‘Opera y Flamenco’ show is one of Barcelona’s most popular dance shows. While flamenco traces its roots to Spain’s sultry Andalucia region, the fiery dance is enjoyed throughout the country, and Barcelona — with its cosmopolitan vibe — is considered as one of the best cities outside of Andalucia to see it performed.

Watch the venue’s talented bailors (flamenco dancers) act out a turbulent love story on stage, interpreted through powerful operatic songs from a mini-orchestra as well as a soprano and a tenor singer. For many, the joy of watching an authentic flamenco dance is seeing the emotions and energy of the bailors expressed in time to music!

The entire performance lasts roughly 1.5 hours and includes an intermission so you can visit the bar for refreshments (own expense) and stretch your legs. When the show is over, simply make your way out of the theater.
