Researches have shown that Helan Pass was a place of worship for various tribes and clans for thousands of years. Take a lunch break before more sightseeing in the afternoon. After lunch, take a short ride to visit Zhenbeibu Western Studio, both a active film studio and a scenic area located approximately 24 miles (38 kilometers) to the west of Yinchuan city in Zhenbeibu. Zhenbeibu Western Studio was established in 1993 by a famous Chinese writer named Zhang XIanLiang on a primitive, rustic, and desolate castle built in Qing Dynasty.
