Unlike any other major cities in China, with an intact city wall, quaint local customs, and a long history even by Chinese standards. Xi'an is also home of the world renowned Terracotta warriors, an archaeological site of wonder and importance, as well as famous Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist pagoda built in 652 during Tang dynasty with its original five stories but later renovated in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian and also in Ming dynasty.

Xi'an is also home of the world renowned Terracotta warriors, an archaeological site of wonder and importance, as well as famous Wild Goose Pagoda, a Buddhist pagoda built in 652 during Tang dynasty with its original five stories but later renovated in 704 during the reign of Empress Wu Zetian and also in Ming dynasty.
Your will be pick up from your hotel 8:30am and drive to the Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum. Terra-Cotta Warriors were created to guard the tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang and to protect him in the afterlife. It is estimated that there are over 7,000 life-size terracotta figures and horses buried here. The museum complex features extensive exhibits, artifacts, and a movie of the rich history of the site, plus breathtaking examples of the countless treasures unearthed here.
Then we will visit Banpo Ruins. Dating back to around 6,000 years, it was a typical Neolithic matriarchal community. At that time, the Banpo people used tools made primarily of wood and stone. Women, the crucial labor force, were responsible for making potteries, spinning yarns, and raising the family while men take on fishing. This excavated site of the village was discovered in 1953. There are 45 houses, 6 pottery kilns, 200 storage pits, 250 adult's tombs and children's burial jars, 10,000 tools and utensils unearthed.
After lunch, you will travel to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a landmark of the city. Built in the Tang Dynasty,the square pyramid stands at 197 feet (60 meters) tall, which is about seven-story high. Before the tour ends, you will step on Xi'an's City Wall. It is the most complete and best preserved ancient city wall of all China. Dating back to some 600 years ago, the wall is still an active part of city life that bustles all around it. You will be transported back to your hotel by 6:00pm and conclude this wonderful tour.
