Nice Location in the medieval Ex-Convent near famous San Gimignano, delicious Tuscan olive oil and organic food from the farm and a lot of fun. Big and small groups - up to 100 people.

Come to enjoy your real Tuscan experience at an exclusive and historical setting. Enjoy the tasting in the former wine farm with a fascinating historic cellar, the heritage of the noble Guicciardini family who own the property since the Medieval time. The wine cellar was reopened together with the Ciappi family, a successful and awarded local wine producer. The former wine farm was also a convent of Benedictine monks, dated the end of XIII century with all the buildings preserved and the guest house opened in the former monk`s rooms.

During the olive oil tasting experience you will learn the history and cultivation of the Tuscan olive oil. We will explain step by step the olive oil production, and then you will learn how to taste olive oil properly and how to appreciate and distinguish all its characteristics.
Usually we offer 3 different types of olive oil tasting with traditional Tuscan snacks, such as Fettunta 'Greased slice' (grilled bread, rubbed with a garlic, drizzled with the best olive oil, and then sprinkled with coarse sea salt) and Pinzimonio with seasonal vegetables (raw vegetables dipped in olive oil). We also offer the option of light traditional lunch with Ribollita soup (Tuscan soup made with bread and vegetables) and Biscotti all’olio di oliva (Biscuits made with olive oil).

The place for olive oil tasting is located near the famous medieval San Gimignano (10km) in Certaldo, the home place of Giovanni Boccaccio. For big groups, coming with buses, we have a spacious parking.
