Views of quaint riverside hamlets, fishing communities, thick mangrove forests where there is a variety of bird & marine life all around you with no traffic or other distractions. You are going to be as close to Mother Nature as you can comfortably and safely be.Your Kayaking tour starts 1-hour before the high tide which is predicted as best as it can be by the NOAA. When you arrive at Amigos, under the Nerul Bridge you first get briefed regarding basic maneuvering skills and safety tips, and then after that you physically maneuver the kayaks in close proximity to the shore.
Once you are more confident of yourself, we start moving into the creek heading in a northerly direction under the bridge and towards the village of Saipem. You will cross an interesting man made structure on our right followed by mangrove trees on both sides of the creek before we reach the village of Saipem.
We will continue to the easterly direction towards the thicker mangroves, prawn hatchery, and then towards the Nerul village. From here we start towards the bridge or make a further incursion into the mangrove forests depending on the group's ability to paddle.
On the return leg we move closer to the club called LPK and marvel at the large reclining statue of a lady made in laterite stone and grass.
There will be light Goan snacks served at Amigos after the tour ends.
