Our small group Napa wine tours visit are guided by wine makers and wine educators and visit at least four different wineries; this is a great tour if you are staying in Napa or Yountville! Throughout the day your wine educator will entertain you and talk about the rich history including Napa Valley ghost wineries and prohibition bootlegging, and teach you everything from wine tasting to wine production and grape farming.
Often you'll get to tour the wine production area of a larger brand name and see how grapes turn into wine, and if you are here during harvest you may even get to stomp on some grapes!
Unlike the big bus tours, our small groups have access to exclusive Napa wineries and love to show you a diverse range of wine tasting experiences. Most days will include tasting at the mainstream wineries and visits to small production family wineries--the true "hidden gems" of Napa’s famous wine country!
Our group wine tours do not include wine tasting fees or pre packaged lunches. Tasting fees at Napa wineries are typically $15-$25 per winery, and you are generally welcome to share. Lunch is often a gourmet sandwich from Oakville Grocery enjoyed in the vineyards, or you can visit one of the many outstanding Yountville or St Helena restaurants for an unforgettable meal.
