Your guide will come pick you up at around 9-9:30am. From there, you will drive for about 1-1.5 hours to Nagarkot hill station to see incredible views of the Himalayan ranges. Nagarkot offers a 180 Degree panoramic view stretching from Annapurna to Makalu. If weather is very clear, you can even see the peak of Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world.
After your visit to Nagarkot, you will drive to Telkot, which is approximately a 15-minute drive. Telkot is small settlement located on Nagarkot highway and a trekking starting point. Enjoy trekking from Telkot to Chagunarayan temple through typical villages and farmlands on your trekking route. This trek generally takes 3.5 - 4 hours to complete. During the trek, you can stop for lunch to enjoy some Nepalese food (at own expense).
Reach Chagunarayan, which is small Newari town located on hill ridge surrounding Bhaktapur. Walk through the narrow lane of Chagunarayan to visit Chagunarayan temple. Chagunarayan temple is listed as a UNESCO heritage site and one of the oldest temples in Nepal. See the incredible wood carving and stone sculptures inside temple complex. Chagunarayan temple is dedicated to Hindu god Lord Vishnu - protector of Universe.
Your car will be waiting for you and you will board your vehicle for about an hour drive back to Kathmandu. You will get dropped back off at your hotel.
