This tour includes one-way or round-trip airfare for you to travel between Guangzhou and Beijing.
Take the flight from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and upon arrival at the Beijing Airport your expert local guide will escort you to a comfortable, private vehicle to experience what Beijing has to offer in a day.
We will then take you to the Mutianyu Great Wall. This specific section of the wall in Beijing was built in order to defend not only the capital, but also the imperial tombs lying in close proximity. The Great Wall at Mutianyu located in Beijing’s Huairou County is about 70km from Beijing’s city center and currently has fewer visitors. You have the option to take a cable car going up and/or a toboggan ride coming down. The wall here is surrounded by amazing forests.
Enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant, then visit a cloisonne factory near the Great Wall. Cloisonné is one of the most well-known traditional arts and crafts in China and its history can be dated back to over 500 years ago. It is actually called the "Blue of Jingtai" as blue is the dominant color adopted for enameling. Cloisonné became prevalent during the reign of Jingtai (1450--1456) in the Ming dynasty. After the factory you will be transferred to the airport in time for your return flight to Guangzhou or your hotel in Beijing city center.
