You will be able to visit Muong Vi Caves which are thousand meters long with beautiful stalagmite and stalactite formed in unique shapes.Start your day travelling by car to Muong Hum, which is located 60 km Northwest of Lao Cai. From Lao Cai, you'll turn onto a dirt and rough road running through mountainous area. Muong Hum is located 35km from Y Ty border. On Sunday, it is always packed with colorful ethnic minorities such as the Ha Nhi, Phu La, Tu Di, Black Dao, Giay, Red H’mong and Black H’mong. They come to buy and sell local products such as foods and materials for agriculture and fabric. After spending the whole morning exploring the market, you will have lunch in a local restaurant. (not included)
After lunch, you will visit a nearby Ha Nhi minority village, who is famous for their house built by clays. You will then visit Muong Vi Caves. Depending on weather, the caves can be submerged. Stretching to a thousand meters long, the caves are carved with beautiful stalagmite and stalactite. You will then get on the car for your journey back.
