Travel through an illuminated Mumbai at night in a private tonga, a traditional horse-drawn carriage, passing the Gateway of India, Regal Circle, Elphinstone College and Flora Fountain along the Queen's Necklace route. Your 2-hour Mumbai night tour includes a stop for a traditional Indian dinner plus round-trip hotel transport.
Meet your guide at your hotel in the late evening, and board your very own traditional tonga. Admire the decorative style of your horse-drawn carriage as you step inside to take a comfortable seat.

Your tour begins at the Gateway of India. Stop for a photo under Mumbai’s most famous landmark before continuing along Marine Drive, affectionately called the Queen’s Necklace for the heritage buildings that line the majestic avenue.

Listen to your guide's commentary as you pass historical monuments illuminated at night, including Regal Circle, Elphinstone College, Bombay University, Bombay High Court and Flora Fountain.

Complete your tonga heritage ride with a traditional Indian dinner at a local establishment. After dinner, guests staying at the Hotel Taj Mahal, Hotel Suba Palace or Sea Palace Hotel can walk back to their accommodation, since these hotels are located right across the road from the restaurant. If you're not staying nearby, you will be transported by car to your hotel.

Please note: Passengers staying at the Hotel Taj Mahal, Hotel Suba Palace or Sea Palace Hotel will be picked up directly by tonga; all other hotel guests are transferred to the tonga by car.
