Surf Level
You will enjoy semi-private surf lessons (2:1 student to surf instructor ratio) to all levels from beginner to intermediate to advanced surfers.
Typical day
8am Breakfast
9am – 12pm Surf lesson
1pm – 2pm Lunch (additional cost)
2pm – 5pm Shuttle service to Seminyak or Kuta (additional cost)
5pm Yoga session (additional cost)
7pm Video analysis session (once per week)
8pm Dinner (additional cost)
9pm Chill and relax at the surf villa
The number of surf lessons you will have is according to which tour option you book. Free transport to and from the airport is applicable for all tour options
Lesson
The surf lessons on offer are for all levels. You will be taken to the correct spot depending on your surf level and the daily swell and wind. The experienced local surf guides know Bali’s surf spots inside out and will take you to the best spot every time. The 2:1 ratio sessions also guarantee that you get the most out of your lesson and that you’re safe in the water. You will be picked up from your surf camp and taken to the surf spot in the surf vans. Once you are at the beach, you will be given a 15-20 minute theory class where you will be taught the basics of surfing and how each spot works (if you are a beginner). After that, it’s time to jump in the water. During the 2-hour surf lesson, the surf instructor will be next to you at all times. This way you will always feel safe in the water. Staying in the right spot will guarantee maximum fun and let you catch as many waves as possible often from your very first lesson.
The surf lesson also includes surf gear including board and lycras. Your instructor will make sure that the board you have fits your needs once they have discussed this with you and understood your surf level.
Accommodation
Built in traditional Lumbung style, Surf’s Up Garden Village is the ideal place to relax, socialize and learn to surf in Bali. Located in Canggu but next to popular Seminyak. it offers you a relaxing surf holiday. And if that’s not enough, there is always the shopping and dining paradise of Seminyak or the wild party life of Kuta within easy reach. The Garden Village is located just a step away from the trendy cafés and restaurants of Jalan Batu Bolong, Canggu’s main street. On top of that, just a few minutes by bike is Batu Bolong beach – Canggu’s main beach with its mellow waves, beautiful sunsets, traditional Balinese temple and a range of laid back bars and warungs. Enjoy a Bintang (Bali’s local beer) or a coconut on the beach as you watch the sun go down. Lunch and dinner is not provided you can cook in the villa or head out for these meals. BBQ’s can also be arranged at an additional cost.
