Extended Barramundi and Blue water safaris are designed so you can catch and experience the best of all Northern Territory species on offer. These safaris are available all year round with multiple fishing locations. Meals and accommodation are included in the price of your safari.
You will be collected from your Darwin accommodation at 5am on the first day, travel time to the launch sire is approx 1.5-hours in an air-conditioned 4WD.
Location 1
You will have the opportunity to fish the remote rivers for saltwater Barramundi as well as the reefs at the mouth of South and East Alligator rivers for Black Jewfish, Snapper, Threadfin Salmon and Blue Salmon. There may even be the chance to fish the unique fresh water billabongs for fresh water Barramundi.
Location 2
Dundee Beach (Fog Bay) extended bluewater and Barramundi safaris are also available all year round where you can catch surface pelagic such as Spanish Mackerel, Spotted and Grey Mackerel, Queen Fish, Tuna, Cobia, Barracuda and reef species such as Coral Trout, Red Emperor, Snapper, Jewfish, Cod just to mention a few.
There is an element of flexibility with these safaris which allows you to nominate where you would prefer to fish, and what species you would like to fish for. You can liaise with the local supplier prior to departure to organize the finer details of your trip.
Your trip includes resort meals and accommodation, resort transfers, morning tea, lunch, cool drinks, refreshments and all fishing equipment. At the end of the day you can enjoy a cold drink while you watch a tropical sunset and jump in the resort pool. Dinner is served at the resort with the fresh catch of the day (fish & mud crabs) or Kimberly beef steaks from the restaurant menu.
On the last day of your tour, you will be transferred back to your accommodation in Darwin at 6.30pm.
