Join this partly guided coach tour from Zurich to Mount Pilatus for a full day's winter wonderland on one of Switzerland's most majestic mountains. Explore the peak at leisure, before enjoying a typical Swiss lunch.
Pass Lake Lucerne before disembarking for a short guided city tour of Lucerne. You'll then continue to Kriens, where a panoramic aerial cable car gondola transports you up to 7'000 feet (2'132 meters) to the white mythical paradise of Mount Pilatus.
According to legend, kind dragons used to inhabit the mountain! Set about discovering the weaving Dragon Path and take in the spectacular alpine vistas.
Over lunch (a choice between three dishes), marvel at the breathtaking alpine views. Afterwards, take the cable car back down the mountain before rejoining your guide for your coach transfer back to Zurich.
Between late October and mid-November the aerial cable car is under maintenance. In this case you will travel up and down Mt. Pilatus by cogwheel train.
