Our guide will be waiting at the your hotel in the lobby at 08:00. Departure to Curtea de Arges, former capital of Wallachia. Here you will visit the Monastery Curtea de Arges considered to be the most beautiful monastery from the center and east of Europe.
Also labelled "the Road to the Sky", "the Road to the Clouds", "the Best Driving Road in the World" and even "A spectacular Monument to Earth-Moving Megalomania" the TransFagarasan climbs, twists and descends right through Moldoveanu and Negoiu - the highest peaks in Fagaras Mountains and in Romania. We will visit Sibiu, magical city steeped, which in 2007 was the European cultural capital. During the city tour we will cross the old streets to admire the main monuments, such as Bruckenthal Palace built in the Baroc style in the late eighteenth century, the infamous Lies Bridge built over a road that connects the lower town and the upper town, the Cathedral of Saxons erected at the beginning of the sixteenth, the Catholic Cathedral and the main squares of the city. Day 2: Sibiu - Brasov - Bran (Dracula's) Castle - Peles Castle - Bucharest
In the morning we departure to Brasov, the city called Kronstadt “the city of the crown”, and we will take a walking tour of the historical center, enriched by particular civil and religious buildings, such as the Black Church, the largest Gothic church in Romania, the Council House from the fifteenth century, the Gates Schei and Ecaterina.
Next we will head to the famous Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) built between 1377 and 1382 on a large rock. The fortification had the function to defend and control the most important trade route that linked Wallachia and Transylvania. But the castle owes especially its fame to the legend associated with the figure of Vlad Tepes. After the visit of Dracula's Castle we will take the lunch in a restaurant with Bran Castle view.
Departure to Sinaia, where will be visiting the Peles Castle, considered among the most beautiful in Europe. Peles Castle may be considered the castle of Records: – was the first building of its kind to have since the construction of central heating and elevator.
In the afternoon we will arrive in Bucharest.
